Due to these extreme Coronavirus circumstances, an assembly at school for graduating seniors has been cancelled. Undeterred, the JROTC cadets had a virtual assembly today in order to recognize their senior peers.
To that end, WSVC proudly awarded 3 cadets with the first annual Jesse Beckius/Casey Owens Memorial Scholarships. The cadets honored are:
– Bailea Ramsey
– Lars Ivan Skoric
– Thaleia A. Castillo Barron
The total gift of $5500 dollars, was made possible by the Vanderhoof family of Glenwood Springs.
