Harold’s fascination with dog toys that squeal and grunt or snort like a pig are well-documented. While at The Walmart last weekend, Janna happened upon this green pig in the dog toy aisle. Admittedly, it was of light construction but it DID make the oink sound that he so loves! This is a quick video taken while heading home. Sadly, by the time we arrived home, the pig was silent, having had his nose chewed off and thus violating the integrity of the toy’s air chamber. Too bad you can’t buy these things in a 12-pack!
The next day, she found a heavier fabric hedgehog toy that made the same sound. That one lasted a bit longer. During WD’s time with it, it actually had to be sewed back together twice with heavy thread and an upholstery needle. But it is my sad duty to report that it was reduced to an air bladder and ‘oinker’ and shreds of toy hedgehog fur in a little over an hour.
There really weren’t enough pieces left to use in a post. I’m sure you understand. 🙂
